Using only salt and electrical energy, the Elclozid systems produce and automatically and variably regulate the user-friendly sterilisation preparation, sodium hypochlorite (NaCIO) right at the location of use. This sterilisation concentrate is composed of a chemical combination of sodium chlorate and oxygen. Although the NaCIO contains the highly effective chlorate "Oxidans", there is no unpleasant odour due to the oxygen content. In contrast to the traditional chlorate (chlorate gas, javelle and ozone etc.) the Elclozid systems sterilise the water in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
