Mamec-side entry agitators are the result of our own R&D work.
We`ve developed an agitator design that better adapts to the special requirements of each particular application, allows for easy servicing, and complies with existing factory standards. It all adds up to a new approach to the design of side-entry agitators.
This has been achieved in the following ways:
-All components are either bolted or screwed together.
-The motor, gear, tank, seal and condition monitoring device can all be freely selected by customer on the basis of experiance and factory standards.
In developing Mamec agitators, we´ve giving special attention to total economy and reliability.
In this way, we´ve come up with a design that offers these major advantages over conventional agitators.
1. We´ve studied how mixing is influenced by the distance between the propeller and the chest
flange. Based on the results, we´ve designed this distance to be greater than competitors.
2. The agitators housing is of conical design for high strength. The conical design also
reducesturbulence. Mixing take place at maximum efficiency.
3. The propeller blades are spiral in shape. This ensures efficient use of energy.
4. The flow guide built onto the housing saves energy. The shape of the guide ensures
minimum vortex formation in the fluid being mixed.
5. The agitator propeller has a large diameter to ensure high mixing-efficiency
